What’s the hardest thing Jesus could ask you to give up?
Monday: John and two of his disciples were with him the next day. When John saw Jesus pass by he said, Look The Lamb of God. They started walking up to him and God asked want to you want? They asked, teacher, where are you staying? Jesus replied in , come and you will see. When Andrew overheard what John had said about the Lamb of God, he went and found his brother, Simon Peter. When he found his brother, he told him that they found the Messiah and told him to come. When Jesus looked at Simon, he immediately said You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas or Peter. The next day, Jesus decided to head for Galilee. When he arrived, he found Phillip and told him, follow me. Then Jesus met Nathanael. Nathanael told Jesus, you are the son of God, the King of Israel. Someone would know that I believe in Jesus is by the way I set myself apart from the world. My words, actions, thoughts, and decisions are not of the world although I am in the world.
ReplyDeleteWednesday: In the selection, Jesus was talking to a man named Nicodemas. He asked Jesus how can anyone be born again if they are already born and grown up. Jesus responded in you are not listening to me. Unless someone accept the original creation, it is impossible to enter God's kingdom. Nicodemas kept on asking questions and Jesus responded in this is how much God loved us: he gave his one and only son. I first met Jesus in church( Bethany South) in Kidzone. They asked at the end of the lesson if anyone wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I raised my hand and went up to the front. They led me and several others in a prayer.
ReplyDeleteThursday: In the selection, Jesus and his disciples went to Capernaum. When they got there the tax collectors asked Peter a question. They asked, Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax? Peter replied in a yes. When Peter came into the home, Jesus spoke first. He asked Simon, From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?” He responded in from other. Jesus said to him, Then the children are exempt. Then Jesus asked his disciples, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? Then Jesus called a little kid over and put him in front of them. Then Jesus said Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Yes, Jesus’ teachings about the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven because you would think that someone who can actually do something for the kingdom. Not a little child.
ReplyDeleteFriday: In the selection, Jesus was walking somewhere. A random man ran up to him and asked him, Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life. Jesus asked him in reply, why do you call me good. For only God is good. That is such humility!!!! Jesus continued, you know the commandments: you shall not steal, you shall not murder, you shall not lie, you shall not commit adultery, honor your father and mother. The man responded, Teacher, I have kept all these since I was a boy. Jesus said, That is only one thing you lack, go and sell all your possessions and give them to the poor and then come and follow me. The man’s face fell and he felt sad because he was very wealthy. Haha, that’s funny! The disciples were amazed at Jesus’ words. The hardest thing Jesus could ask me to give up is my brother, Daniel.
