Friday

Job 38:1-41: In the selection, God is asking Job several questions. They are questions like who made the earth? and who shut up the sea and told them to not come any further? I am so amazed at what God is in speaking to Job. He is in a storm!!! I never would think that God would be in a storm! Things around me that remind me of God's greatness is the sun, moon, and stars. Also, mountains remind me of God's greatness. I love seeing big mountains, and knowing that God is much greater than it and that he made it! Wow. God amazes me in so many ways!

Thursday

Job 2:1-13 : In the selection, God asked Satan what he had been doing. Satan answered in" roaming the earth back and forth." Satan questioned God's servant Job. God said that he would not turn away from me. Satan wanted to test him. God agreed. He said he could do anything to him but he must spare his life. When Job's wife told him to curse God, Job told her off. He said no to her and told her, " shall we accept good from the Lord, and not trouble. I normally respond to someone else's pain by feeling their pain and feeling sorry for them. When someone is sad, I am usually sad.

Bible Blog: Tuesday

Esther 6:1-7:10: In this selection, the king could not sleep. He asked his servant to read him the record books. He read of how Mordecai saved the king's life. The king knew he had not rewarded him for that. The king asked Hamon to reward Mordecai for what he had. After doing that, Hamon ran home in shame and grief. He then hurried to Esther's banquet. At the banquet, Esther revealed Hamon's evil plan! He was killed in return! It is helpful to remember that God is in control when I have alot of homework and things are going on in my life and I feel like im about to give up!

Bible Blog: Monday

Esther 5:1-14: In this selection, Esther has gone to the king. She has gotten dressed in her finest robes.   When he asked her what she wanted, she said she wanted him and Hamon to come to a banquet. When they were at the banquet, the king asked Esther again what she wanted. She said she wanted them to join her again. Hamon went home boosting about himself. The last time I did something scary to obey was when I had to witness to this lady. It was very scary for me, but when it was over, i felt very excited.

Friday

Esther 4:1-17: In the selection, Mordecai heard of the news. After hearing this, he wore sath cloths and put ashes on his head. Esther soon found out about Mordecai's distress. She sent someone to give him some clothes, however he rejected them. Mordecai sent them with the news to Esther. After finding out, Esther told them to fast three days and night. Then she would go to the king ,and if she perished, she perished. In a way I have shown my faith is in my friends. I always have faith that they got my back. No one can replace them!

Thursday

Esther 3:1-5: In the selection, Hamon was rewarded for his doing of finding the king a queen. He was given a high seat of honor. When he passed by, you were suppose to bow to him. However when he passed by Mordecai, he did not bow. After the officials told Hamon, he became mad. I am tempted to compromise my faith when others are doing things i know i am not suppose to do.

Bible: Wednesday

Esther 2:1-23: In the selection, it tells how Esther found favor with the king. She had to have many years of beauty treatments. The king fell in love with her and gave her a crown and made her queen. The king made a holiday in honor of her! There was a feast and handing out of gifts. Later, Mordecai had found out of a plot to kill the king. After they investigated the plot, they found the plot to be true. Difficult situations help me in the future in many ways. One way is to help me know how to solve larger situations without freaking out!

When it had finally been laid, everyone started to worship God. Some people cried ehile others shouted for joy. When working on a large project, I feel like there needs to be organization. Once there is order, I like to do everything with neatness.

Week 6: Wednesday

2 Kings 2: 1-12: In the selection, Elisha and Elijah went for a walk. Elijah was about to go to heaven. He went to the river and put his robe in it. The water parted. On the way back, chariots of fire appear. They separated Elijah and Elisha. Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. When I make a commitment, I try to carry it out. Except if it was money and the person forgot to ask me for it. Then I will keep it.

Week 6: Tuesday

1 Kings 22: 29-40: In the selection, Ahab died. He died in battle. He tried to escape from battle. When trying to escape someone shot him with a bow and arrow. That evening he died. And the dogs licked up his blood, just like the other guy. This was just what the Lord said. He would die just like the other guy. I am temped in thinking i can hide from God when I am doing something wrong.

Week 6: Monday

1 Kings 21: 1-29: In this selection, Naboth had a vineyard. One day Ahab went to ask him to sell it. Naboth said no because he was not going to give up something that had been his ancestors for numerous years. Abah went home angry. He wouldn't get up and eat. His wife made a command for the people to kill Naboth. After Naboth was killed, he took the vineyard. God told Abah through the prophet that he would die where Naboth died. And he did. Justice is very important in my life if its against me. If its on me, then I want MERCY!!!!!!

Week 5: Friday

1 Kings 19: 1-21 : In the selection, the Lord comes to Elijah. When the a wind came, the Lord was not there. After, there was an earthquake, and the Lord was not in it. The same happened with a fire. After that, there was a whisper. The Lord was in the whisper. Usually when people think of God talking to them, they think of loud booming voices. However, God has a soft voice that touches our hearts and makes them tender. The last time I felt sorry for myself was when I could not go to Nagoya's for sushi.

Week 5: Wednesday

1 Kings 17: 1-24: In the selection, God told the prophet to go to the brook and drink from it. He told him that the ravens would bring him food. She will give you water and something to eat. The lady gave them the food and water and she was  blessed. Trusting and obeying God go together in life because when you faithfully trust him and obey him, he will surely bless you. He will bless you so abundantly that you will not be able to receive it.

When there is family conflict, I usually deal with it calmly. Except for Jasmine, because I really like getting on her nerves. We fight alot but in the end, it's all good! :)
